“Students, alumni, campus leaders and city leaders celebrated the official ribbon-cutting of Clyde Way Friday with a nod to positive partnerships and future opportunities.
“It is a true win-win,” said Chancellor Venkat Reddy. “I call this road a dream way. Think of what could happen alongside this road for both our campus and this community. I hope that this road represents that it is critical for UCCS and Colorado Springs to come together to transform lives for this community.”
Construction of the road, named Clyde Way by UCCS students, was funded in part by UCCS and the City of Colorado Springs to help reduce traffic on Austin Bluffs Parkway and Nevada, two main entry points to the UCCS campus.”
