In a bizarre hacking case, an Alabama high school just discovered that someone (presumably a student) has been hacking into their IT system and changing grades since 2016. The culprit, who is still unnamed and un-caught as far as we know, is likely in the current graduating class, as the high school is refusing to name a valedictorian or salutatorian from this year’s class. As you’d expect, the brazen move has also incurred the wrath of parents, especially the parents of those “straight-A, Ivy-league-bound, I’ve-been-in-every-high-school-club-ever kids.”
Note to whoever did the hacking: we’re pretty sure you could skip college and get a job at Google or Facebook if you want it. We’re just saying.
