KRDO- Dozens compete in Colorado Springs hackathon on Valentine’s Day

“It was the National Cybersecurity Center’s Capture the Flag Hackathon. Gamers weren’t out on a field, but inside a conference room set up with computers.

Contestants could learn new skills on penetrating networks, with the goal being to access the scoring server. You didn’t need any particular skills; all levels were welcomed. About half were high schoolers.

Prizes were awarded, including the coveted Golden Keyboard to the top team.”
