The National Cybersecurity Center (NCC) is proud to partner with WittKieffer in our search for the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This pivotal role is at the heart of NCC’s mission and the forefront of an industry rapidly transforming the lives of individuals and businesses alike. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead the organization’s strategic direction, operational performance, and overall impact, ensuring that NCC remains agile and effective in its mission and financial objectives.

Established in 2016, NCC is now approaching a critical juncture. The incoming CEO will partner with the Board of Directors to further assess the organization’s most significant opportunities and determine the strategy and operational plan for the future.

This period offers a chance to reinforce NCC’s mission while identifying new opportunities to expand the organization’s influence in cybersecurity preparedness, which is vital for national security.

The CEO will identify and capitalize on opportunities to collaborate with national leaders to train and empower individuals and organizations against cyber threats. This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, experience in navigating the complexities of cybersecurity, and eagerness to lead an organization on the cusp of significant growth. The CEO will be responsible for steering NCC through this transformative phase, reevaluating its approach to ensure it continues to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing technological landscape. The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, substantial experience in technology or security industries, and proven leadership in complex organizations. Skills in business development, strategic planning, program execution, strong communication, and media relations are crucial. The ability to align diverse stakeholder interests for the success of NCC is paramount.

As a thought leader, the CEO will lead this small yet impactful organization, shaping its strategic direction and expanding its reach and influence in cybersecurity. They will also partner with some of the nation’s and region’s top leaders in all sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity for a visionary leader passionate about cybersecurity and committed to guiding NCC into a new era of innovation and impact.

Anticipated Compensation Range: $250,000 – $300,000, complemented by a full compensation package, excellent benefits, and additional incentives tailored to reward and recognize the qualifications and expertise of the chosen candidate.
