Three men charged with running an enormous botnet used to hack IoT Devices have finally been caught. The Mirai botnet has been used primarily to take over Internet of Things devices like security cameras, routers, DVRs, and any other Internet-connected devices with default passwords still enabled. Although the creators were caught, one man released the botnet’s source code, meaning copies can be made and used by anyone. Be sure to change default passwords on your IoT devices! READ MORE
