COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – June 24, 2024, The National Cybersecurity Center (NCC) announced the appointment of Aleta Jeffress as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective June 1, 2024. Jeffress brings a wealth of experience in information technology, cybersecurity, and executive leadership to the NCC, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to cyber resilience for society.
Jeffress is recognized for her transformative leadership in both public and private sectors. Her career highlights include serving as the Senior Vice President at CGI, where she managed commercial and public sector accounts across six states, including business development, P&L responsibility and operations. In her previous roles as Chief Information & Strategy Officer at the City of Aurora, CO, and as Chief Information Officer for Department of Revenue at the State of Indiana, Jeffress demonstrated her capacity to establish inaugural programs, develop high-performing teams, and drive significant organizational improvements.
