Remember when your parents or teacher would say, “trust me, it’s for your own good?” Well, turns out that it’s not always the case. The legislation, meant to curb the bad guys, has the cybersecurity community up in arms because things we do in the normal course of business might now be considered illegal (enter the “white hats”). Needless to say, its going to have a devastating impact on how we discover threats and vulnerabilities and the nation (Georgia anyway) will be worse off.
